This is the hardest part. The first step. As a mom to a 3 month old, I can say that waking up is hard enough. When you add in the breast-feedings, middle of the night soothing, and diaper changes; well, now you’re just pushing it. But, getting out of the house for 20-30 minutes for a quick walk DOES make me feel better. It brings fresh oxygen to my body (which makes me feel alive and more awake) and my baby girl loves looking at all the shapes outdoors.
Once you take the first step of a workout, the rest just seems to fly by. The first step can even be easy. Begin with a walking program to build endurance, then move to jogging and running.
